The task to be carried out must be moved underneath the camera to view. It can be helpful to do this in a regular method.
A helpful method is for the user to read the first line from left to right then go back to the start of this line before moving down to ensure they can keep track of progress, i.e. moving along and back and then down to the next line.
The contrast reversal option available with this device can also be an advantage to make vision easier for some people.

The iFlex Electronic Magnifier is the stylish front of the Andromeda mounted on an adjustable stand instead of the reading table. It is a full-featured flat panel electronic magnifier fitted on an adjustable arm which has a quick release bracket. Line and line marker modes are provided as standard. The unit with a 17 inch flicker-less TFT screen and anti-glare coating has a top mounted handle for easy transportation. It also has an interface allowing connection to a PC and/or the addition of a distance camera and can also be used as a PC monitor. All smaller items (up to 7kg) are delivered for free in the UK using First Class post (Articles for the Blind) and are normally delivered in 1 to 3 days.

For larger items (such as desktop electronic magnifiers) a courier is used for delivery, which costs £10 to £20+VAT, depending on the size and weight. Delivery costs will be calculated during the checkout process before you enter any payment details

Overseas and trade deliveries are charged at cost, which will be calculated once you have entered your delivery address.
