How do I use this product?

CCTV

  • The task to be carried out must be moved underneath the camera to view.  It can be helpful to do this in a regular method.
  • A helpful method is for the user to read the first line from left to right then go back to the start of this line before moving down to ensure they can keep track of progress, i.e. moving along and back and then down to the next line. 
  • The contrast reversal option available with this device can also be an advantage to make vision easier for some people.

The highly versatile lightweight electronic magnifier incorporates both distance and near viewing capabilities. The unit base sits under the laptop or keyboard and holds the camera stand minimising space requirements. It connects quickly and easily to a PC and as it folds flat and is supplied with a backpack is easily carried.

All OPTi products, the OPTi Standard, OPTi Lite and OPTi Verso are supplied with the OPTi Software to connect to a laptop or PC.

· 480MB of RAM minimum
· 64MB of video RAM minimum, 128 or higher recommended
· Motherboard capable of USB 2.0 operation
All smaller items (up to 7kg) are delivered for free in the UK using First Class post (Articles for the Blind) and are normally delivered in 1 to 3 days.

For larger items (such as desktop electronic magnifiers) a courier is used for delivery, which costs £10 to £20+VAT, depending on the size and weight. Delivery costs will be calculated during the checkout process before you enter any payment details

Overseas and trade deliveries are charged at cost, which will be calculated once you have entered your delivery address.
