The Sara^TM CE is simple to use. Just place a printed page under the camera, and the Sara^TM CE instantly starts reading it to you with RealSpeak human-sounding speech. No computer experience is needed. In the automatic setting you don’t even need to push a button to read almost any printed material – books, magazines, post, and more. The camera automatically senses when a new page is presented.

A built-in keypad with brightly-coloured tactile keys provides access to a wealth of additional features. Pause reading, move forward and backward, or hear a word spelled out. Change the reading speed and volume. Select a different voice. Scan and read in one of 18 languages. Change the scanning mode to capture bound books, and save them on the 160GB hard drive or to a USB memory stick. Read one of the 222 classic novels that come already installed.

Connect a monitor to access the customizable low vision features. The Sara^TM CE Scanning and Reading Machine enables the size of the text to be increased. You can also change text and background colours, add more space between letters and highlight words as they are spoken. 

All smaller items (up to 7kg) are delivered for free in the UK using First Class post (Articles for the Blind) and are normally delivered in 1 to 3 days.

For larger items (such as desktop electronic magnifiers) a courier is used for delivery, which costs £10 to £20+VAT, depending on the size and weight. Delivery costs will be calculated during the checkout process before you enter any payment details

Overseas and trade deliveries are charged at cost, which will be calculated once you have entered your delivery address.
