The task to be carried out must be moved underneath the camera to view. It can be helpful to do this in a regular method.
A helpful method is for the user to read the first line from left to right then go back to the start of this line before moving down to ensure they can keep track of progress, i.e. moving along and back and then down to the next line.
The contrast reversal option available with this device can also be an advantage to make vision easier for some people.

The ultra-slim pocket sized electronic video magnifier displays the magnified image of the reading material on its integrated screen. The centrally located camera aids positioning. It has been designed as a simple and effective high contrast alternative to standard optical hand magnifiers. The snapshot facility can capture images such as a price on a difficult to see shelf. The hand-held magnifier has rechargeable batteries lasting 3.5 hours.

All smaller items (up to 7kg) are delivered for free in the UK using First Class post (Articles for the Blind) and are normally delivered in 1 to 3 days.

For larger items (such as desktop electronic magnifiers) a courier is used for delivery, which costs £10 to £20+VAT, depending on the size and weight. Delivery costs will be calculated during the checkout process before you enter any payment details

Overseas and trade deliveries are charged at cost, which will be calculated once you have entered your delivery address.
