The high quality brown coloured filter glasses can be worn independently or over normal spectacles. They enhance contrast, filter out harmful ultra violet light and reduce dazzling and photosensitivity. They are especially suitable for outdoor use. The solar shield spectacles fit closely to the head with a darkened upper edge which helps to shield the eyes from light. The brown filter has an absorption range which ensures a good transmission of light through the filter whilst achieving a good absorption of UV light. These brown tinted spectacles are particularly suited as an aid for Macular Degeneration, Cataract, Glaucoma, Aphacy, Optic Atrophy, Pseudophakia and Retinitis Pigmentosa and for PUVA treatment.
