Magnifying Spectacles or Spectacle-mounted Magnifiers

Generally you will need to hold the material very close to your eyes.
When you first put the spectacles on everything will appear blurred. To find the best position for viewing after putting the spectacles on gradually bring the material closer to your eyes until it appears clear.
It may be easier to move the print from side to side whilst keeping your head still to read, enabling you to maintain the position and distance where you have found the image to be clear and in focus.

The 2x prismatic magnifying spectacles are similar to an ordinary pair of spectacles in look, give a wide field-of-view and enable the wearer to have both hands free. The spectacles provide magnification where ordinary reading glasses are no longer sufficient. The inner prisms included in the lens design improve convergence making reading clearer. A protective case is supplied.

All smaller items (up to 7kg) are delivered for free in the UK using First Class post (Articles for the Blind) and are normally delivered in 1 to 3 days.

For larger items (such as desktop electronic magnifiers) a courier is used for delivery, which costs £10 to £20+VAT, depending on the size and weight. Delivery costs will be calculated during the checkout process before you enter any payment details

Overseas and trade deliveries are charged at cost, which will be calculated once you have entered your delivery address.
