How do I use this product? What will I see with this product?

Illuminated Stand Magnifier

    • With the reading material on a flat surface place the stand magnifier on the material to be read over the text you want to see.
    • You may need to be close to the magnifier to see the text clearly if you need a more powerful magnifier.
    • It can be helpful to angle the material with a reading stand for a more comfortable viewing position if you need to be quite close to see clearly.
    • The internal illumination can make reading easier as the magnifier illuminates the exact material to be read or object to be viewed.
    • It can be easier to move the reading material from side to side rather than the magnifier as this helps to keep the optimum reading position in place.
    • Use your finger to help keep your place on text if you view only a part of the text at once due to the size of the magnifier
    • Bringing the magnifier and object closer to your eye can help to increase the amount to be viewed with an optical magnifier

The Eschenbach system vario 3x Rectangular LED Illuminated Stand Magnifier with additional filter is designed to be placed directly on to reading material so can be used hands free and is suitable for long periods of reading. The additional 4 dioptre lens not only provides extra magnification but also concentrates the vision to follow the reading line better. The LED light bulb contained in the handle has an unlimited life so no bulb changes are required together with a 10x longer battery life. The magnifier is supplied with head and handle together. The handle has a large non-slip light switch in contrasting colour and a quick release battery cap. Batteries are supplied with your magnifier so it is ready to use when you get it.  
 
 
 
All smaller items (up to 7kg) are delivered for free in the UK using First Class post (Articles for the Blind) and are normally delivered in 1 to 3 days.

For larger items (such as desktop electronic magnifiers) a courier is used for delivery, which costs £10 to £20+VAT, depending on the size and weight. Delivery costs will be calculated during the checkout process before you enter any payment details

Overseas and trade deliveries are charged at cost, which will be calculated once you have entered your delivery address.
