Cocoons Sidekick eye shields in Smoke Colour provide a flip-up UV shield which also features wrap around lenses. The frame clips easily over your prescription spectacles and in addition to the traditional UV protection offered by clip-on lenses Sidekicks also provide protection at the sides and top giving 360^o of UV protection. The majority of light is now filtered through the UV absorptive filter or blocked by the brow bar. The Sidekick frame can be easily flipped up when inside and flipped down to provide maximum protection from UV and glare and enhance contrast when outside. The medium size Sidekick frame is 138mm wide x 42mm high. The Smoke colour filter delivers sharp colour definition and reduces glare. It allows 15% of visible light to be transmitted through the lens, provides 100% UVA and UVB protection and blocks visible light up to 400nm.
