The polarised Cocoons glasses can be worn over your existing spectacles or independently. The sizing guide gives information on the best size to fit over your frames to provide maximum protection.
To increase comfort the Flex2fit adjustable temples can be adjusted to fit your head shape. Simply contour the flexible ear pieces by bending them down and then inwards to achieve a custom fit that is both comfortable and secure.
The integrated brow and underside protection eliminate reflected light from entering the eyes from above and below and the Side shields block peripheral light without compromising your range of vision.

Cocoons Wideline polarised sunglasses are designed to securely and comfortably fit over a wide range of prescription eyewear and can also be worn independently. When wearing polarised lenses, eyestrain is reduced allowing your eyes to remain relaxed and focused on the task at hand. The patented frames are constructed from extremely durable ballistic nylon and feature the Polaré® lens system that exceeds the highest levels in quality, the Class 1 European standard for optical clarity and performance.

The Cocoons frame design blocks damaging UV light and glare from all angles (top, bottom and sides) completely isolating the eyes in a cocoon of filtered light. The distortion free grey lenses provide a neutral tint that delivers natural colour definition and contrast with 15% Light transmission. They are ideal for everyday use in bright light conditions where enhanced contrast is not required and provide 100% protection from damaging UVA and UVB light.

The Wideline style’s medium large frame, 138mm wide x 36mm high (5 7/16 inches x 13/8 inches), enables them to be easily worn over your normal prescription spectacles or independently. The frames have integrated side shields which are precisely regulated to match the exact transmission rates and UV absorption curves of the front lenses to provide all round protection whilst maximising the light available to the eyes. Cocoons frames feature Flex2Fit®temples which allow the user to manually adjust the ear pieces to fit their own preferences providing improved comfort during extended wear.

The Cocoons Wideline frames provide enhanced visual perception and maximum protection from retinal damage that can be caused by long term exposure to ultra-violet light. Their Polare® lenses are extremely durable and feature a chemically bonded scratch resistant hard coat to protect the lens surface from hazing that can reduce the quality of performance over time and feature a one year scratch resistance warranty. The black Ballistic Nylon^TMframe is coated in Soft Touch for maximum durability, and features a lifetime warranty.

The Polarised Advantage

Light reflected from horizontal from horizontal surfaces produces harsh glare that can greatly distort and hinder visual acuity. Polarisd lenses act as a chemical “venetian blind” that eliminates blinding glare by rearranging the reflected light before it reaches the eyes. The Polare lens system delivers maximum polarisation efficiency to enhance visual performance while allowing the eyes to remain relaxed and focused.

All smaller items (up to 7kg) are delivered for free in the UK using First Class post (Articles for the Blind) and are normally delivered in 1 to 3 days.

For larger items (such as desktop electronic magnifiers) a courier is used for delivery, which costs £10 to £20+VAT, depending on the size and weight. Delivery costs will be calculated during the checkout process before you enter any payment details

Overseas and trade deliveries are charged at cost, which will be calculated once you have entered your delivery address.
